No referral is required, pet parents can book a consultation and assessment procedure at any time. Veterinarians can refer challenging cases to our team and the appropriate team members will perform the necessary treatments.

About us

We have a team of experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians who  are dedicated to providing the highest standard of dental care to you pet. They assist with anesthetics, radiographs, charting and cleaning your pet's teeth. When extractions are required, Dr. Thomas Mulder is a  "dental enthusiast" whose 36 years experience in private practice has given him a keen interest in veterinary dentistry. This experience and ongoing continuing education has equipped him with the knowledge base and competency to assess potential extractions and to perform a wide range of dental surgery. For the advanced dental surgeries, Dr. Amy Thompson,  a board-certified diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College since 2021 is availabe for advanced dental surgeries such as pediatric dentistry, maxillofacial tumours, preserving the function of teeth through periodontics, endodontics and prosthodontics. Dr. Thompson travels in the Toronto area but has graciously agreed to provide her services to any pets in our care that require her expertise!

Referrals


Veterinarians are encouraged to refer pets that require multiple extractions, fractured tooth treatment or malocclusions as well as any case that requires assessment or treatment. A full report of dental disease diagnosis, treatment and post operative care will be sent to the referring veterinarian to ensure coordinated ongoing care.
